What will you be doing as a work planner / maintenance technician? 

As a work planner / maintenance technician you will be responsible on the one hand for planning the maintenance work. This means you will coordinate, prepare and monitor both corrective and preventive maintenance. On the other hand you will assist your colleagues with installations and corrective and preventive maintenance whenever necessary. 

In concrete terms this includes the following tasks: 

  • You prepare maintenance assignments and projects. 

  • You manage the stock of parts and tools so that planned works can be carried out efficiently and effectively. 

  • You are the first point of contact for after sales service, including corrective maintenance. 

  • You provide the technicians with the necessary instructions for their work. 

  • You draw up and optimise maintenance plans so that the maintenance work runs smoothly. 

  • You provide customers with technical advice and support, and you suggest improvements. 

  • You build a network of technical partners. 

  • You respect the applicable standards in terms of quality and safety. 

  • If necessary you support installation, corrective and preventive maintenance activities. 

  • You ensure the quality of the completed documents such as maintenance checklists, calibration documents and test protocols. 

  • On average you spend 20-40% of your time visiting customers.

Profile 

What is expected of you? 

A technical bachelor’s or associate degree (‘graduaat’) or equivalent work experience. 
A strong affinity with technology. A hands-on mentality and an orderly and punctual work attitude. 
The quality to be flexible in a constantly changing work environment. 
You are a true organiser and a team player. 

Thanks to your strong communication skills you are fluent in Dutch and English. 

Basic French is a minimum requirement, fluent French is a plus. 

You are punctual, proactive and you value organisation. 

You have an analytical mind that breaks down problems to arrive at the most appropriate and cost-efficient (technical) solution. 

A regulated (GMP) environment doesn’t faze you: you adhere closely to the applicable procedures. 

And above all, you have the ambition to grow with a company in full expansion and delve into technology and project engineering. 

Job-related competencies 

  • Repair the installation by replacing and/or repairing electric, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. 

  • Determine the need for parts and consumables based on stocks and place orders. 

  • Install circuit breakers, receptors, control circuits, ... on the equipment. 

  • Coordinate the activities of a team. 

  • Provide remote support for the users of installations. 

  • Register the follow-up data of interventions and forward the information to the relevant department. 

  • Introduce customers and users to the functionalities of the installation.
