Profile

  • We are on the lookout for a dynamic Process Engineer specializing in Visual Inspection and Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) who holds a professional bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, electromechanics, automation, or possesses equivalent experience. 
  • Ideally, you'll bring to the table approximately 5 years of engineering experience within the Pharmaceutical industry or in vision technology across any sector. 
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. French is a plus.  
  • You have an analytical mind that quickly unravels problems to find appropriate technical solutions.  
  • You understand and appreciate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) working conditions and you diligently respect the pharmaceutical client's procedures. 
  • Most importantly: you are passionate about immersing yourself in pharmaceutical and vision and CCIT technology and are keen to join a company in full expansion.  
  • You are flexible and customer-oriented. 

Job description 

In the role of Process Engineer for Visual Inspection and Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT), you carry out vision-technical process optimizations and the commissioning, qualification and validation activities on high-tech pharmaceutical automatic visual inspection machines. 

To ensure your success and integration into our team, your onboarding will include comprehensive training in specialized inspection machinery, covering both vision technology and CCIT technology, as well as in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, particularly Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). 

After your training, you will be responsible for carrying out vision-technical process optimizations and corresponding system qualifications. 

Specifically, this involves the following responsibilities: 

  • Optimizations of vision-technical programs to improve 'inspection performance' and resolve failure of inspection machines. 

  • Installation, commissioning and qualification of new machines or modifications to existing machines in a GMP environment. 

  • Writing complete engineering or qualification protocols for both VI and CCIT equipment 

  • Monitoring engineering runs and process validation runs. 

  • Consulting with various client departments such as technical service, quality, and engineering. 

  • Participation in new machine projects. 

  • Providing training. 

  • Carrying out root cause and risk analyses relating to machines.
