Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you came to join eyetec?
I spent a significant amount of time studying-nine years in total-during which I earned two master’s degrees: one in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, and another in Bioscience Engineering with a focus on human health. My bioscience engineering studies centered on developing technologies tailored to human needs, so my academic background is quite broad.
I first learned about eyetec through my girlfriend. She had previously been in touch with the company via a marketing agency. After my initial interview with eyetec, I immediately felt a strong connection and knew it was the right fit for me.
What inspired you to pursue a career in VI (Visual Inspection) & CCIT (Container Closure Integrity Testing) consultancy?
Before I applied, I had never heard of VI & CCIT. It’s a highly specialized niche within the pharmaceutical industry, where knowledge and techniques are constantly evolving. That’s exactly what attracted me, the opportunity to gain new insights in a field that’s not widely understood
What do you enjoy most about working in the pharma consultancy field?
I really enjoy interacting with different people and clients from across Europe and even further afield. The variety that comes with different projects keeps the work interesting and engaging.
What unique skills or experience do you bring to the eyetec team?
With my background in both human health engineering and rehabilitation sciences, I offer a multidisciplinary perspective. My experience allows me to approach challenges from both a technical and human-centered angle.
How do you see your role contributing to the growth of our VI & CCIT consultancy services in 2025?
At eyetec, especially within the CCIT area, we’re supporting a range of new and large-scale projects. The CCIT side of the business is growing rapidly, and I have the freedom to explore and learn about these topics in depth. I believe that, over time, this experience will become a significant asset to our projects and clients.
Can you share an example of a challenging project you’ve worked on and how you approached it?
Every project we take on presents its own unique challenges. The key is to provide tailored solutions for each client. I believe this is only possible by remaining flexible in both our actions and our timelines.
What are your main goals for client projects in 2025?
One of our major ongoing projects is the development of a custom-made, plug-and-play Manual Visual Inspection Booth. We’re designing this inspection cabinet specifically to meet the client’s requirements. In addition, I aim to further develop my role as a project and process engineer to support large-scale projects.
How do you plan to help our clients overcome their biggest challenges in VI & CCIT?
A major challenge is that knowledge about VI & CCIT is not yet widespread. With eyetec’s years of experience, we can offer clients something extra, expertise and guidance that’s hard to find elsewhere.
What trends or innovations in VI & CCIT are you most excited about for the coming year?
CCIT is even less understood than VI, but we’re seeing more clients investing in these technologies, such as High Voltage Leak Detection (HVLD) and headspace analyzers. This growing interest is exciting and signals a shift in the industry.
What motivates you in your day-to-day work?
Coffee (and tea) definitely help! But beyond that, the dynamic nature of the work and the opportunity to keep learning are big motivators for me.
How do you stay updated with the latest developments in the pharma industry?
I keep up to date by attending PDA events and industry conferences, which are invaluable for learning about new trends and technologies.
What do you like to do outside of work to recharge?
I enjoy sports, especially cycling and running-and going to concerts.
How would you describe the eyetec team culture?
There’s a real family atmosphere here. Even when we’re working hard, there’s always room for a laugh or a chat.
What does “consultancy with a human touch” mean to you?
Personal contact is crucial. That’s why, for large projects, we make it a priority to be physically present and available for our clients.

Don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always ready to share our expertise and help you find the best solutions for your needs.
