Particle Monitoring Program
Submit your particle. Gain insight into its nature.
To support the launch of our particle identification service, eyetec is running the Particle Monitoring Program.
During this limited campaign, pharmaceutical manufacturers can submit a particle whose origin is unclear. Our team will review the submissions and select cases for an initial particle analysis.
As part of this campaign, we use two analytical techniques:
• SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy): identifies inorganic materials such as metals and glass
• FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared): identifies organic materials such as plastics, rubber and fibres
Together, these techniques allow us to determine what a particle is made of.
Particles can be submitted until 31 May.
What the assessment includes
Depending on the case, the assessment may include:
• microscopy screening
• preliminary particle characterization
• Electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy analysis
• expert interpretation of the findings
Selected participants will receive a concise analysis report describing:
• observed particlecharacteristics
• possible material identification
• interpretation of the results
• recommended next investigation steps
Who can submit a particle
This program may be relevant if:
• a particle was detected during visual inspection
• the material composition is unknown
• the contamination source is unclear
• your investigation requires additional analytical insight
The program is intended for professionals involved in contamination investigations, including:
• QA managers
• QC laboratories
• production teams
• MSAT specialists
How the program works
-
Submit your particle details using the form below.
-
Our team reviews the submission.
-
Selected participants will be contacted.
-
If your case is selected, we will arrange sample shipment and analysis.
Confidentiality and NDA
We understand that particle investigations often involve sensitive production information.
All submissions are treated as confidential and used only to evaluate your case.
If your particle is selected, our team will contact you to discuss next steps.
If required, a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be arranged before sample exchange.
We may share general insights from the program, such as types of particles identified or overall learnings.
All shared information will be fully anonymized.
No company names, product details, or identifiable information will be disclosed.
