The SIG-VI will bring pharmaceutical professionals together to exchange knowledge, practical experience and good practices around Visual Inspection in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Benoit Willocq, ISPE Belgium Board Member, is launching the initiative together with Bram Keymolen, co-founder and Compliance Director at eyetec.
Why a Special Interest Group on Visual Inspection?
Visual Inspection is an important part of the manufacturing process for parenteral products. It is also a field where regulatory expectations, technologies and industry practices continue to develop.
Professionals working in Visual Inspection often face similar questions. How are other companies approaching Manual Visual Inspection? What developments are taking place in Automated Visual Inspection? How are regulatory expectations translated into daily practice?
There is a lot of Visual Inspection knowledge across the pharmaceutical industry. The ISPE Belgium SIG-VI aims to bring more of it together.
Sharing knowledge on Manual and Automated Visual Inspection
The SIG-VI will create a platform for pharmaceutical professionals to exchange practical experience and discuss topics such as:
- Manual Visual Inspection (MVI)
- Semi-Automated Visual Inspection (SAVI)
- Automated Visual Inspection (AVI)
- regulatory expectations and industry practices
- new technologies in pharmaceutical Visual Inspection
The participants will help shape the topics and future direction of the group.
